Sweet and delicious Japanese carrot

"Hekinan beauty" is a kind of carrot, harvested in Hekinan direction, Aichi, Japan.

This sort of carrot is sold only in Chukyou. and is  hard to get in Tokyo.

It is a vivid red and beautiful carrot.

It does not have the  distinctive smell of carrot.

Japanese people rarely eat uncooked carrots.

However, I ate this carrot in salad and juice.

It was delicious and sweet.

日本の愛知県碧南地域でとれる
へきなん美人というニンジンがあります。
中京地域限定で売られているので、
東京のスーパーで買うのは難しいです。
鮮やかな赤色で、とても美しいニンジンです。
ニンジン特有のくさみがありません。
日本ではあまり生のニンジンをたべませんが、
このニンジンは甘くておいしかったので、
サラダとジュースにして食べました。
